Amigas in Action: Unidas en Colorado
✨ Amigas in Tech is proud to announce we are now officially a part of the Poderistas Partner Network! Poderistas is a nonprofit celebrating Latina culture and building community through storytelling, convening, and civic engagement. Their mission is to inform, celebrate, and motivate mujeres to take action for themselves and their communities ✨
This year, Poderistas is celebrating its fifth anniversary 🎉 with their National Weekend of Action (August 28th to 31st), a moment for partners and community members to come together, spark real conversations, and take action.
To celebrate this milestone, Amigas in Tech is hosting Amigas in Action: Unidas en Colorado, teaming up with Latina Owned Collective, ALPFA Denver, Latina Initiative Co., and our very own AIT community member Ana Mitchell. We’re bringing our networks together, combining our energy, and creating a space where everyone is welcome, whether this is your first step into civic engagement or you’ve been doing this work for years.
This event will feature a roundtable discussion, with each partner hosting a topic-based conversation that invites attendees to share, learn, and connect. Pull up, join us, and be part of a day where we take action, strengthen our communities, and show that we are stronger together. 💖
