Money Stress: From Panic to Practical Power
If thinking about money instantly tightens your chest, triggers overthinking, or makes you feel behind, you're not alone. Financial stress isn’t just about numbers; it often activates anxiety, scarcity thinking, and old stories we learned about safety, worth, and survival.
This workshop explores how money and anxiety are connected, and what you can do about it. Together, we’ll:
Break down what anxiety looks like in the mind and body
Connect those experiences to financial triggers like uncertainty, debt, inconsistent income, family expectations, or pressure to “be responsible”
Identify your personal money stress patterns, the messages you absorbed about money growing up, and how those beliefs may be shaping your current reactions.
Learn practical, therapist-informed strategies to calm money anxiety in the moment and reduce overwhelm over time so you can make decisions from clarity instead of panic.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who feels stuck in financial worry, avoidance, or guilt, and wants tools to feel more grounded, empowered, and emotionally steady when it comes to their relationship to money.
This event is 90 minutes long, with cameras on. Participants are encouraged to introduce themselves (first names only), and share as they feel comfortable.
