Inner Frameworks for Outer Success with Pauline Brown, Former Chair of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy USA
Pauline Brown has spent decades shaping the world’s most influential brands, and she’s joining us live on the Samana podcast.
Pauline Brown began her career at Bain & Company before moving into senior executive roles at Estée Lauder and Avon Products. She then became a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, where she helped build the firm’s consumer and retail investing practice. Most recently, she served as the Chair of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy USA (LVMH), the world’s leading luxury group. In that role, she led 70 brands across five sectors.
While at LVMH, Pauline also served on the boards of several fashion and retail companies, including Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Fresh Cosmetics, and Moda Operandi. She has spent time teaching at Harvard and now teaches The Business of Aesthetics at Columbia.
This live conversation will look beneath the surface:
how people reach the top of competitive industries without hollowing themselves out,
building a successful career as life gets more complex, and
deciding what doors you want open two moves from now intentionally
We'll add color with some great personal stories of hers!
