🍦 Independents Day Ice Cream Chillout - Members & Friends Invited
With temperatures projected to be over 100 degrees, Friday's plan for rooftop grilling is taking a turn to the cooler side...
Instead of grilled meats and veggies, we're turning this into an Ice Cream Chillout. Or should we say...a JFDIce Cream* Social?
*hat tip to Lauren G who gave Indy Hall our name and now this gem!
And just like our original potluck plan, attendance is free for all members and friends, all we ask is that you bring your favorite toppings and mixins to share!
Join us with a spoon or straw from 3pm thru happy hour.
We'll have:
An assortment of ice cream and frozen treats (incl non-dairy options)
Sodas for coke and root beer floats
Spoons and straws, bowls and cones
You can bring to the potluck:
Your favorite ice cream toppings or mix-ins
Cookies or brownies for making sandwiches or sundaes
Something else cold and tasty to share...get creative!
Just like the BBQ potluck, homemade or store bought are welcome, as long as you bring enough to share.
We'll also stock up on seltzers, beers, sodas...and we'll have the new slushie machine cranking on a new flavor.
And don't worry...we'll revisit the rooftop grilling plans once the heat has calmed down a bit 😅
