Everything is Waves: Bone Flutes, Hemlines & AI
How waves have shaped human creative expression and how you can flow with them.
Everything Is Waves is a talk that leaves audiences with this: the fundamental truths of sound are the fundamental truths of humanity. We embark on a historical and ethnographical journey to explore how humans have always translated waves into creative expression, from the earliest bone flutes to modern recording technology and the rise of generative AI music. Through thought-provoking sonic demos and humorous audience interaction, Everything Is Waves invites the audience to find comfort in the ebb and flow of change and develop sonic techniques to thrive in an overstimulated, ever-accelerating world.
