About Event

Women across Asia continue to face significant barriers to timely cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis and care. At the same time, advances in technology, decentralised care models and new partnerships are creating opportunities to move women’s cancer care beyond centralised facilities and closer to the communities that need it most.

Innovations such as HPV DNA testing through self-sampling, decentralised and near-point-of-care diagnostics, AI-assisted risk stratification and imaging, technology-enabled breast cancer detection, digital referral pathways and market-shaping approaches are opening new possibilities across the cancer care continuum.

The challenge is no longer simply technological innovation—it is translation: identifying which innovations deliver meaningful value in real-world settings, integrating them into health systems, developing sustainable delivery models, and mobilising the partnerships and investment required to take them to scale.

As countries across Asia strengthen their commitments to improving women’s cancer outcomes, there is an opportunity to bring together funders, governments, industry, technology companies and implementation partners to examine what it will take to move promising solutions from innovation to evidence, adoption and scale.

As part of Asia Impact House, this intimate high-tea session will bring together senior leaders across philanthropy, healthcare, industry, government and the development ecosystem to explore how the next generation of women’s cancer care can become scalable, sustainable and investable.

Discussion Themes

  • Moving from technological innovation to evidence-based, scalable models of women’s cancer care.

  • Exploring which emerging solutions can meaningfully improve prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

  • Understanding what makes innovations viable and valuable in real-world, resource-constrained settings.

  • Identifying financing models and partnership approaches that can mobilise greater investment in women’s cancer care.

  • Exploring how governments, donors, investors, industry, technology companies and implementation partners can build an enabling ecosystem for scale.

  • Positioning women’s cancer not only as a health priority, but as an opportunity for strategic investment and systems-level impact.

The session will feature a moderated conversation followed by networking over high tea, creating space for continued dialogue, relationship-building and exploration of potential partnerships among funders, institutional leaders, healthcare organisations and ecosystem actors.
