Welcome to our first roundtable as the ON Community! 🎉
As per Ops Stories tradition, every now and then, we put our heads together to dive into an operational topic presented to us by one of our community members.
The format is simple and informal - the host presents the topic and shares a couple of questions, we split into small groups (3-5 people), and then we discuss. At the end of the session, we bring our learnings together so we can share them with the wider community.
This time, the topic is brought and the conversation is facilitated by Ronja Thomson, Head of Operations at Legatics.
We’ll be talking about how to manage internal comms in a growing company.
As operations leaders, how can we help our organisations achieve the right level of cross-team and cross-company visibility, communication and collaboration as these get harder to preserve with growth?

What pains around communication and collaboration has your organisation felt as it has grown from a small startup with limited structure to a 20, 50 and 100-person scaleup?
How do the right communication channels differ for a 10, 20, 50, and 100-person organisation?
What structures, meeting types, processes, culture initiatives, etc. have helped your organisation maintain the right balance? (Though systems can be incredibly helpful as well, we'd like to focus more on the softer side of this problem - but feel free to bring up any great systems and their impact as well.)
What are best practice behaviours around communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing and how can we encourage these in a stretched period of growth?
