Codex Founder Feedback Session - San Francisco
Codex Founder Feedback Session - San Francisco
A curated, invite-only session for YC technical founders, CTOs, founding engineers, and serious builders who are already using or actively evaluating Codex and AI coding tools.
This is not a generic mixer and not a rushed hackathon.
The goal is to bring together a small group of high-signal technical founders for a focused conversation about how AI coding tools are actually being used in real startup workflows: what works, what breaks, what slows adoption, and what could make Codex more useful for fast-moving teams.
Who Should Attend
This session is designed for:
YC founders, technical founders, CTOs, founding engineers, product-minded builders, and early-stage teams who are actively building with AI coding tools or seriously evaluating them for their engineering workflow.
This is especially relevant if you are:
already using Codex or other AI coding agents
building a product where engineering speed matters
experimenting with AI-assisted development workflows
managing a small technical team
trying to understand where AI coding tools help and where they still fail
interested in giving direct feedback from real startup usage
Why This Session
Most events about AI coding are either broad community meetups or short demos.
This session is different.
Before the event, we will collect attendee questions, workflows, pain points, and adoption blockers through the registration form. This allows the conversation to be more focused, practical, and useful for both founders and the Codex/OpenAI side.
The goal is to create a real feedback loop from serious technical users, not just a casual networking evening.
What to Expect
Expect a focused, high-signal evening with:
light founder talks from teams already building with Codex / AI coding tools
practical discussion around real engineering workflows
structured Q&A
optional office-hours style conversations
curated founder-to-founder networking
direct feedback collection around Codex usage, pain points, and adoption blockers
Potential Codex/OpenAI involvement may include a short workflow demo, a “how we use Codex” talk, structured Q&A, or office-hours style conversations, depending on availability and what is realistic.
Hosts
TatianaSF
Pablo Hansen (Proliferate, YC)
Adi Singh (AgentMail, YC).
Format
This will be a curated, invite-only session.
Registration may require approval in order to keep the group focused and relevant.
We are especially looking for technical founders and engineering leaders who can share thoughtful, specific feedback based on real usage or serious evaluation of Codex and AI coding tools.
You Will Leave With
sharper insight into how other founders are using AI coding tools
practical ideas for improving your own engineering workflow
new connections with technical founders and builders
a chance to share direct feedback about Codex and AI coding adoption
a better understanding of where AI-assisted building is going next
