Forus: Culture, Safety & Stewardship
Forus Productions was born in San Diego from a pure love for snowboarding and a desire to serve as a direct liaison into the lifestyle. Built on the belief that the best way to protect our culture is to mentor it, this activation brings riders together in a relaxed, open forum focused on education, risk maturity, and land stewardship.
This gathering creates a genuine space for experienced riders to share mountain etiquette, backcountry knowledge, and environmental care—pairing an interactive safety segment with live local music, a used gear trade, and a charitable give-back drive. Whether you’ve been riding for years or are stepping into the lifestyle for the first time, join in to connect, learn, and walk away with real tools to explore the mountains responsibly.
Charitable Give-Back: Proceeds and optional door donations benefit non-profit organizations including Protect Our Winters (POW) and The Chill Foundation.
Used Gear Trade & Drive: Peer-to-peer gear trade for clean, field-ready equipment. Unswapped, functional gear can be donated directly on-site to support youth outdoor non-profit programs.
Educational Safety Feature: Interactive discussion in collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service covering land stewardship, risk maturity, mountain safety, and foundational principles for navigating heavy snow and alpine conditions.
Live Local Music: Casual live music set to keep energy high across the outdoor space.
Parking & Transit: Open parking available on the street along Morena Blvd as well as in the surrounding business park lot.
