​Running a business is a full-contact sport. This is the hour where you actually get to breathe.

​Bergen Biz Walk & Talk is a casual networking walk for women business owners in Bergen County. No pitches. No name tags. No awkward speed networking. Just a small group of women walking Wood Dale County Park in Woodcliff Lake for 45-60 minutes — talking honestly about what it's actually like to run a business.

​We cap it at 12 so it stays a real conversation, not a crowd.

Don't know anyone? Good. Most people won't. That's the point.

​Who shows up: Women who own local businesses with a team behind them. If you're the one everything still runs through — you'll fit right in.

​What it costs: $10. Wear comfortable shoes.

We walk rain or shine. If it's truly nasty out, I'll email the group by 4 PM.
