About
Beauty Salon is a complex, dreamlike novella about bodies and society in decay. A highly infectious disease decimates a large city. Those on the margins are most likely to contact the deadly virus and the infected are spurned by their friends and family and hospitals refuse them treatment. The owner of a beauty salon takes in people who are dying on the street, turning his shop into a makeshift morgue. He helps the sick navigate their march towards death while putting himself further and further into isolation.
