Island Escape

​Spend the day exploring the Toronto Islands with Ramen Crew. We’ll rent Bike Share bikes (subject to availability), ride across the island, stop for a picnic, and spend some time at the beach.

​We’ll meet outside the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal at 10:00 a.m. and take the ferry to Ward’s Island. We’ll wait for 15 minutes before heading inside, so please arrive on time—we won’t be able to wait for late arrivals once the group leaves.

​Bring your own lunch, snacks, and anything you’d like for the picnic. We’ll be biking across the island using Toronto Bike Share bikes, so make sure you have the Bike Share app set up and are comfortable riding.

​We’ll visit the beach during the day, so bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, and a towel or swimsuit if you’d like to swim.

​This is a free, casual, come-along-for-the-day kind of event. The schedule may be flexible depending on the weather and what the group feels like doing.
