About Event

Change is inevitable. So what blocks us from making the evolutions we (or our businesses) need to thrive? Often, it's not bad strategy, nor lack of effort. It's our avoidance of the sticky sensations that might arise – shame, guilt, fear – when we make a pivot publicly known. Time to alchemize that script.

This workshop is designed for entrepreneurs but open to anyone facing a moment of change. It’s for those facing a pivot, a reinvention, a strategy change, a coming out, or a choice to step away. It’ll serve as a primer for how leaders can use emergent principles and somatic practices to make change authentically and easefully, to come into greater alignment with authenticity.

Most of us learned that success means sticking to your goal at all costs: even when it requires pushing through, ignoring market reality (or intuition), doing what we said we’d do to "succeed". Because if we don't, we've "failed". While there is virtue in staying course, we all know when staying course is actually not the best thing to do.

There's another way to approach change—one rooted in how nature actually works, how agile systems are designed, and how living systems adapt and thrive. This is emergent strategy and it’s practiced regularly by regenerative entrepreneurs. In these models, leadership mirrors nature. There is no failure in emergent systems, only evolution into the next more aligned, more nourishing form.

In this 60-minute session, you'll:

  • Bring one area of your life or business where you sense change is imminent

  • Learn 5 key principles of emergent strategy and how to apply them

  • Discover how emergent and embodied leaders steward change differently

  • Experience, through embodied reflection, what sensations and stories you hold about the change you are about to make (or avoiding making).

  • Generate one concrete takeaway to apply to your life or business to pivot with confidence & ease

Here's the truth: when you choose not to be ashamed of the fact that things aren't going according to plan, you enable what’s emerging. And what’s emerging is often more authentic & true.

CREATRIX is a 4-month Embodied Leadership Incubator for women entrepreneurs and executives in reinvention. We gather to create lives and businesses aligned with our deepest values through somatic practice, emergent principles, coaching, and accountability. And right now, CREATRIX itself is pivoting.

Cristina will be sharing vulnerably about how CREATRIX itself is evolving in real-time—using it as a live case study of how regenerative entrepreneurs approach the organic nature of creating value differently, even if it means changing course.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You're an entrepreneur or leader navigating change

  • You've been sitting on a pivot you know you (or your business) need to make

  • You've ever felt ashamed that something you set out to do isn't performing as planned

  • You're curious about what regenerative, emergent, and embodied principles actually look like in practice—not just in theory

  • You sense there's another way to build and lead that attunes to truth without sacrificing integrity

Bring a journal, a beginner’s mind, and a willingness to feel. Kick off your shoes and join from a space where you won’t be disturbed. We'll close our eyes, tune into the body's wisdom, and practice the kind of honesty that actually moves businesses (and lives) forward.

The only failure in emergence is refusing to evolve.

About Cristina Poindexter

Cristina Poindexter is a serial entrepreneur and founder coach dedicated to restoring leaders and systems to their authentic natures. She has founded multiple companies—including two venture-backed startups in brain and mental health—and knows intimately what it's like when market response doesn't match founder vision. After years of building in extractive ways, she now supports founders and executives in creating businesses aligned with regenerative and emergent principles, weaving two decades of embodied movement experience with hard-won business wisdom. Beyond coaching, she stewards a leadership ecosystem redesigning entrepreneurship toward a post-extractive economy—one where success is measured by human vitality and systemic regeneration, not depletion.

About Amanda Martinez

Amanda Martinez is a mindful movement facilitator dedicated to helping people of all walks of life reconnect with their body's wisdom. Drawing from her experience teaching yoga, The Class, and mindfulness, she guides individuals to access deeper knowing through felt sense and movement. Amanda specializes in working with those ready to lead from a place of embodied authenticity rather than performance. Her work emphasizes that the body holds intelligence that the mind alone cannot access—and that true transformation happens when we learn to listen. She brings warmth, depth, and a grounded presence to her facilitation, creating spaces where vulnerability and truth can emerge.
