「Tokyo Fail Club」は、クリエイティブな人たちが自身のリアルでありのままの人生で過去に起きた失敗にまつわるストーリーを共有するコミュニティです。このコミュニティにおける私たちの目標は、過去の失敗を祝福する場を作り、また、未来の成功について一緒に再考することです。
各イベントでは、お食事やお飲み物を楽しみながら、スピーカーが自らの過去の失敗体験やそこから得た教訓を語ります。その後、質疑応答や自由な交流の時間が続きます。
次回のイベントで、皆さんとお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！
Tokyo Fail Club is a community where creative people share their real, vulnerable stories about failure. Our goal is to create a place where people can celebrate failure, and challenge ideas of what success looks like.
At each event, we gather with food and drinks to hear speakers tell stories from a time they experienced failure and lessons they learned through the experiences, before opening up to Q&A and open networking time.

Mike Staffa
Mike is the founder and director of the Pirates of Tokyo Bay, the leading group in improv-based training and live entertainment in Japan.
Mike will talk about the early days of his first improv group in Osaka, a generous first sponsor who funded everything, and the sudden, surprising reason why that money ran dry.
Rolento Ong
Rolento is a photographer and video producer with extensive experience in Shanghai and Singapore. Since 2022, he has been based in Tokyo, where his passion for fashion, architecture and interior design continues to inspire his creative work.
Rolento will reflect on his attempt to build a business platform for interior designers and architects in Shanghai - and how what began as a promising collaboration soon unraveled.
Dave Gutteridge
Dave Gutteridge is a long-time Tokyo resident originally from Vancouver, Canada. Starting his Japanese career in animation, he now consults while also finding ways to bring together his creative and artistic sides with his extensive experience.
In the middle of the first dot-com boom, Dave raised around a million dollars for a Tokyo-based startup that aimed to fuse social networking with AI. What followed was a rollercoaster of angel investments, pitches and Herman Miller chairs in service of an idea that ultimately burned out before it ever launched.
