β---
Hey there, we're Altea, and we invest in the world's best alternative assets.
βWe've got a special event in LA on October 6th.
βπ€ Backing creators through debt & equity
βCreators are building real businesses now, with real revenue, real audiences, and predictable revenue streams.
βAnd a whole new private financing layer is emerging to fund them: advances, revenue-share deals, credit lines, catalog loans, film gap financing.
βWe're bringing together the people building that layer for an evening of straight talk on how it works: where the debt and equity opportunities are, how deals get structured, and what it looks like from both sides of the table.
βπ€ Who's speaking
βAlts CEO Stefan von Imhof will moderate a panel of six people working on both sides of creator capital: the lenders and investors writing the checks, and the talent managers guiding creators through them.
βJosh Stein, Founder & CEO, Attention Capital
A former leveraged-finance banker and lawyer turned media operator (VICE, Univision), Josh now originates senior secured loans to creators, media, and sports businesses at Attention Capital. His thesis in a line: audiences are the new collateral, and he built a platform to underwrite them.
βSam White, Co-Head of U.S., Copyright Capital
Fifteen years structuring creator deals across WME, Snap, and partnerships with the likes of MrBeast. Sam now leads U.S. expansion at Copyright Capital, building financing that fits how creator businesses actually earn: across platforms, and constantly changing.
βCorey Livingston, Co-Founder & CEO, Splitz
An investment banker and music-industry operator turned founder, Corey co-founded Splitz, which turns creator invoices into instant working capital: a true-sale receivables platform backed by an institutional bank.
βJess Hunichen, Co-Founder, Shine Talent Group
Jess co-founded Shine Talent Group, an award-winning talent management agency named one of Adweek's Fastest Growing Agencies and Women-Led Agencies. Shine represents top creators across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube from hubs in Los Angeles, Toronto, London, and New York, and works with brands such as Amazon, Google, and L'OrΓ©al. She is also a co-founder of Love x Money Ventures and JERi Agency.
βVanessa DelMuro, Managing Partner, Glossary Artists
Vanessa has spent two decades in entertainment and talent marketing, including roles as Managing Director at TalentX, Head of U.S. Social at YMU, and SVP of Global Talent at StyleHaul. This year she co-founded Glossary Artists, an independent, women-led management firm built on the idea that brand deals are where a creator's career starts, and ownership is where it should go.
βJason Davis, Vice President, Creators Guild of America
Originally from Sydney, Jason trained as a lawyer before founding and selling Unbridled Management, one of the first talent firms built for digital creators. He went on to run talent and creator partnerships at Triller, writes about the creator economy for Forbes, and helps lead the Creators Guild of America, the first professional guild built to protect and promote digital creators.
βCo-hosting are James Creech and Morgan Keim, Altea's LA city captains.
βIf you care about where creator capital is heading, this is the room you want to be in.
βπΈ The venue: Sunset House
βWe're hosting this one somewhere with real soul.
βSunset House sits right on the legendary Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, steps from The London and Edition hotels.
βThe building was formerly the London Fog, where The Doors were the house band in 1966, months before they were signed. It's hard to think of a more fitting backdrop for a conversation about creative talent and the money behind it.
βInside, it's a design-forward lounge with a full bar, plush seating, and a cozy outdoor patio complete with fire pit and fountain. We'll have the panel set up in the Main Lounge, craft cocktails and bites flowing, and plenty of room to mingle.
βπ Focus & Format
βCreator lending and financing is one of the fastest-moving, least-understood corners of private markets right now.
βWe'll get into the real mechanics:
βHow creator advances get underwritten
βWhere debt beats equity (and where it doesn't)
βWhat film gap financing looks like today
βWhat happens when the numbers come in lower than expected
βThis is not a pitch night or a conference. It's an intimate, curated evening: about 35 people, craft cocktails, great bites, a real conversation, and plenty of unstructured time.
βA genuine conversation, from the people writing the checks and the people taking them.
