The Influence Institute: Founding Roundtable
The first-ever gathering of The Influence Institute with its founding members.
About This Event
AI is commoditizing knowledge fast. What you know is worth less every month. What isn't getting commoditized aka what's actually getting scarcer is the ability to build trust and move people. That's the whole premise behind The Influence Institute, and this roundtable is where we say it out loud, together, for the first time.
This isn't a webinar and there's no stage. It's a small, closed-door working session with the founding cohort, built around three things:
Why we're starting this. The honest version of what I think is broken about how professionals currently develop influence, and why most communities are still built around the old currency — information — instead of the thing that actually moves people.
What the goal actually is. Where I want the Institute to be in 12 months: the research we're building, the working groups, the Influence Score, and what "success" looks like for members, not just for the brand.
What influence means to each of us. This is the part I can't script. Fifty people in the room will have fifty different answers, and that disagreement is the most useful part of the day.
You'll also just meet the rest of the founding cohort. These are people hand-picked for how they operate, not their title and that's arguably half the value of showing up.
Who This Is For
Founding members: you're already in, this invite is for you, no application needed.
Not a member yet? This roundtable is founding-cohort only, so you'll need to apply first: apply here. If it's a fit, we'll get you in before the room fills.
What to Expect
Small group, candid discussion on the mission and where the Institute is headed
Time to meet fellow founding members
