Design Your Future: Book Launch and Masterclass

​What if your next chapter was not something to “figure out”, but something to design?

​Many of us are navigating transitions: new roles, career questions, relocation, parenthood, reinvention, uncertainty, or simply the quiet feeling that something needs to shift. But we often lack practical tools to move from reflection to action.

​Swissnex SF will host an intimate masterclass and book launch for Design Your Future, the upcoming book by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Kernbach, Professor associated with the University of St.Gallen, Stanford University and Stellenbosch University. Ahead of the official book tour, this event will offer our community early access to the book’s science-based tools for navigating life and career transitions with more clarity, confidence, and purpose.

​Blending insights from design thinking, behavioral science, and positive psychology, Sebastian will lead participants through an interactive workshop and practical life-design exercise focused on real questions such as: What’s next in career and life? How can we stay sane in transitions despite uncertainty? How can we become more competent at navigating change?

​Rather than leaving with abstract inspiration, participants will create their own tangible mini-zine: a small personal artifact capturing their reflections, possible next steps, and one experiment they can begin right away. The evening will also include an early glimpse into the book, followed by an informal Q&A and conversation.

• ​Prof. Dr. Sebastian Kernbach works as Professor at the School of Management (SoM) at the University of St.Gallen, as Associate Professor Extraordinary at Stellenbosch University and as Visiting Professor at Stanford University.
