About Event

On May 13th, 2026, we will be hosting a public lecture on Mainstreaming Social Safeguards in Built Environment Education and Practice at the Technical University of Kenya, Lecture Theatre, as part of the AECAS experiential learning series in collaboration with Pamoja Trust, PASGR, and ASA TUK.

The lecture is designed to offer exposure to the role of social safeguards in development, highlighting their importance in planning, design, and implementation processes, while addressing real-world challenges such as informality, displacement, and inclusive stakeholder engagement.

This session is free of charge, and we invite all students to participate, especially those in engineering, the built environment, social sciences, and technology-related disciplines, as well as faculty members interested in sustainable and inclusive development.

Kindly ensure early confirmation to allow for proper logistical planning.

The lecture will bring together students, practitioners, and thought leaders, creating a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and interdisciplinary engagement.

We look forward to an insightful and engaging learning experience.
