Understanding the Government perspective: What governments need to partner with nonprofits at scale

​Nonprofit-government partnerships are critical for big impact. Yet many fail to take off because strategies are designed without knowing what governments need to say 'yes'.

​Drawing on new research, this session will centre the government's rarely heard perspective, asking not "how do we persuade?", but "how do governments actually decide?".

​In an interactive conversation, government officials, funders, and practitioners will unpack what governments can afford, their constraints, and what nonprofits can or cannot shift – so partnerships fit public sector realities.
