Australia - Postdoc Mobility and More

​Have you dreamed of a Postdoc, PhD or other study in Australia, or are you just Australia curious?

​Since 2015 almost 100 Postdocs have been supported by the SNSF Postdoc.Mobility grants to work in Australia as well as many others employed directly across Australia. This has been a boost for academic careers and also a fantastic personal experience on the other side of the world.

​This event from the Australian Swiss Academic & Innovation Network (ASAIN) and Swiss Australian Academic Network (SAAN) is an opportunity to learn about studying and working in academia in Australia with a particular focus on SNSF Postdoc.Mobility fellowships.

​At the event you will hear short presentations from returning Postdocs, Postdocs preparing to leave and from Robert Medcalf, current President of the Swiss Australian Academic Network based in Australia.

​The event is also a chance for previous Postdocs to share experiences and potentially build on and reinvigorate Australian-Swiss collaborations as well as hear about potential Australia-Swiss funding opportunities. If you are an Australian studying in Switzerland and would like to share your experience feel free to also join.

​There will also be optional vegemite tasting for those willing to begin their cultural journey now.
