NS Journal Club

​NS Journal Club is for folks who love to read interesting essays/articles and discussing them.

Each week someone new will pick an article that they find interesting, and they start the session with a brief summary and their thoughts on the subject, followed by a general discussion. The main ask is that everyone read the article ahead of time to leave all the room for discussion.

For this first one I'll kick us off with an oldie from 2013 called "Shall We Vote on Values, But Bet on Beliefs?" from Robin Hanson, who conceptualized early prediction markets and how they could be useful.
