About Event

Most community founders are operating with borrowed language.

The Village Design Diagnostic Tool changes that. Built on 18 community design spectrums and six years of field research across four continents, it gives founders a precise vocabulary for what they're building, and a clear picture of the design decisions that will make or break it.

In this live session, we'll walk through the tool together: how it works, what the spectrums are measuring, how to read your archetype result, and how to use your report to make better decisions about governance, ownership, residency, and community culture.

This session is for you if:

You're in the early stages of designing a community and want to get your foundations right. You've already launched and suspect your model needs rethinking. You're a consultant, advisor, or researcher working with communities. Or you're curious to assess what kind of community you should build.

What's included:

A guided walkthrough of the diagnostic and all 18 design spectrums. Live Q&A with Nicole on how to interpret your results. A look inside the archetype reports, including what they're built on and how to act on them. And something rarer: your chance to shape the tool itself. This is an early-access cohort. Your feedback directly informs what gets built next.

Hosted by Nicole Reese, founder of Terrenity, regenerative village researcher, and the person who built this tool.
