Join Merkazim at Besarabia for a political quiz that takes democracy out of the classroom and into the bar. Israel and the Western democracies, elections and politicians, history and pop culture, music and art, an array of fun facts you never knew you needed to know.

You don’t need to memorize the entire Knesset to have a voice in Israeli politics. But knowing who did what, who said what, and what the hell happened here in the first place certainly doesn’t hurt. Bring your general knowledge, your political instincts, a good team (or come solo — we’ll find you one on the spot!), and good vibes!

The quiz is hosted by Moshe Shamah, who has been professionally running quiz games for over six years, including a monthly quiz at Biratenu Bar in Jerusalem. When he’s not trying to stump people with impossible questions, Moshe is a multidisciplinary artist and Jewish educator.
