The Room

​The Room is a free gathering for women to meet, connect, and have the kinds of conversations we don’t always make enough space for.

​Hosted by Jessamy, each event brings together women from different backgrounds and stages of life for an evening of connection, conversation, and honest discussion around relationships, sexuality, identity, wellbeing, and the realities of being a woman.

​Halfway through the evening, Jessamy leads “Jessamy’s Jam”—a short, thought-provoking talk designed to open up a bigger conversation in the room.

​October’s Jam: Body Dysmorphia

​For our October 1st gathering, we’ll be talking about body dysmorphia, body image, and the often relentless internal commentary we carry about how our bodies look.

​Jessamy’s Jam will explore the psychological and cultural forces that shape body image, the pursuit of control through our bodies, and what it might mean to develop a relationship with the body based less on appearance—and more on experience, pleasure, function, and connection.

​Come alone or bring a friend. There’s no preparation and no pressure to share—just come as you are.
