The Emerging VC Fellowship is a selective, hands-on program offering real exposure to venture capital through two distinct tracks, each with its own application:
• Operations Track — Learn how a venture organization is built and run, supporting platform, community, and internal operations.
• Investment Track — Work on venture investing through sourcing, diligence, and live deal workflows.

Meet the program mentor
Brandon Hoffman is General Partner at Sunset Ventures & Founder of Emerging LA.
He has been featured in Business Insider as a "Rising Star in VC," named Toigo's Top 35 Rising Leader, and is nominated for PledgeLA's Catalyst Award as the "most inspiring emerging manager."
His 20 years of experience span Silicon Valley, Wall Street, and Hollywood. Prior roles include a Principal at Samsung Next Ventures, Head of Research for Samsung's Chief Innovation Officer, Internet Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley, and a music creator & audio engineer.
Brandon received his MBA from Wharton, MPA from Harvard, and BA from CSUF and Cypress Community College. He is on the board of directors at Toigo Alumni Endowment, LA County Library Foundation, and is an Executive in Residence at CSUF.
Brandon grew up in Anaheim, and currently lives in North Hollywood.
