Almere Changemakers 5
Our Changemakers community is coming together again. On Tuesday 27 October we gather at Innovally in Almere for an evening around the dinner table with entrepreneurs, experts and ecosystem builders from Almere and the wider region.
This time we will be joined by the newest generation of Almere startups from our UP Validation Program. Over the course of the evening, in three rounds, each founder takes 90 seconds to share where they stand and what would help them take the next step. After every round, each table gets a few minutes to weigh in: who do you know, what have you learned along the way, what would you have wanted to hear at that stage? No jury, no winners. The principle is pay it forward, and that goes for every guest in the room: the startups bring the ask, and we all help them and each other.
The evening opens with moderator Sanne Kooiman in conversation with Jan-Bert Vroege, alderman for the Economy at the City of Almere, about why startups, scale-ups and innovation matter for Almere and the region, and his vision for entrepreneurship in the city. She then speaks with Debby Kruit, Program Lead at UPALMERE!, before guiding us through the rest of the evening.
