Gay Worcester Walking Tour - Central Massachusetts

​When Main Street Was Gay: A Walking Tour
Join The Venture Out Project for an urban adventure! A local historian who worked on the Worcester LGBTQ+ History Project for a walking tour of the gay side of downtown Worcester. We will follow the paths of early bar hoppers, community builders, cruisers, and Pride marchers as they navigated the blocks around Worcester’s Main Street in pursuit of community and rights between 1950s and 1990s.

​After the walking tour, we can continue the fun at a local bakery to nosh and nerd out over Worcester's queer history.

​We ask folks under the age of 18 to please register themselves and an adult to accompany them. If you require a service dog to attend, please let us know and we’ll collaborate with you on how to keep you both comfortable and hydrated at this event.
