Help Us Shape DIA's Courses: A Co-Design Info Session
Over the past few years, we've heard from many of you: you want to know more about how the Department of Imaginary Affairs does its work, and how you can bring those practices into your own work.
We're building a series of facilitated learning and professional development courses for practitioners who want to imagine and practice more equitable futures. Before we finalize anything, we want to build it with you.
This isn't a typical info session. It's a co-design session. Together we'll:
Share what we heard in our June poll and from conversations across our community
Walk through the course ideas that have come out of our conversations with you, on a shared Miro board, and hear what you'd want to learn, get out of, or see in each
Ask how you'd like to learn: half-day or full-day intro, 2 or 3-day crash course, or 6–8 week intensive (one day a week)
Answer your questions about DIA, how we work, and what's coming
Your input comes with a thank-you. Everyone who joins will receive a co-designer discount code. After the session, we'll take a few weeks to shape the courses, then email you with what we've decided, the formats, and your code to register.
If there's anything you've wanted to know about DIA and our offerings, now is the time. Come help us decide.
No preparation needed. Bring your curiosity and your honest opinions.
