​🚆 Getting There
Group commute: we will meet at Central (Platform 9) at 6:30am to take the 6:48am train to Cowan Station.
Next train is in one hour, so please don’t be late.

​🚗 Driving
You can park at Berowra Station (end point) and take a 5-minute train to Cowan Station (start point), or park at Cowan Station and take the train back from Berowra at the end of the hike.

​🥾 Hike Overview
A classic and challenging point-to-point section of the Great North Walk, offering a mix of bushland, ridgelines, and scenic water views. Expect a rewarding but demanding hike with steady climbs and descents throughout.

​Please note: swimming is not advised in Berowra Creek due to pollution levels.

​• Start Time: 8:00 AM sharp
• Duration: 5–6 hrs
• Distance: 13km
• Elevation Gain: 604m
• Track Type: Point to Point (Cowan → Berowra)
• Grade: 4 - Challenging, bushwalking experience recommended
