Founders' Fireside Chat
The LMU Transfer & Entrepreneurship Center presents:
Founders' Fireside Chat
We’re excited to kick off our monthly series of Founders' Fireside Chats. The speakers of this very first edition are Thomas Bernik, CEO & Co-Founder of Rebike, and Dr. Philipp Baaske, LMU Vice President for Entrepreneurship and Co-Founder of NanoTemper.
The Founders' Fireside Chat is a fully dialogue-driven, Q&A-based, informal, and close-up event series. No keynotes. Instead, in-depth conversations with experienced founders who've been through the trenches.
Thomas Bernik is a serial entrepreneur who founded his first company while still in school. He has since built and successfully exited multiple ventures – from a publishing house to a coupon platform – before co-founding Rebike in 2018. Today, Rebike is Germany's largest recommerce platform for e-bikes, operating Europe's biggest e-bike refurbishment center and recently securing Decathlon as a strategic investor and shareholder.
Dr. Philipp Baaske co-founded NanoTemper, a deep-tech company that grew from an LMU spin-off into a global player in life sciences instrumentation. As LMU's Vice President for Entrepreneurship, he now helps the next generation of founders take that same leap.
Under the motto #HowIBuiltIt, this evening is about the real story behind building a company – the decisions, the setbacks, and what it actually takes to scale.
If you want unfiltered insights into founder strategy, building a team, raising capital, and navigating growth, this is the place to be.
The evening will be accompanied by drinks for a relaxed get-together in an informal atmosphere.
Join us for an inspiring, interactive evening at the LMU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center!
