This is not a formal lecture or political debate. It is a chance to meet and hear from everyday Latinos in Elmwood Park: Our neighbors, parents, students, workers, small business owners, educators, caregivers, and community members whose stories help shape our village.
We recognize that Latino/a/e communities are not a monolith. Our stories include many countries, races, languages, migration histories, generations, faith traditions, family structures, and lived experiences. This event is an invitation to honor that diversity while building stronger relationships in Elmwood Park.
