About Event

SV2 Community Engagement Opportunity with Oasis Legal Services

For many LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, birthdays haven't always been a time of celebration. At Oasis Legal Services, every individual deserves to feel celebrated, seen, and welcomed. Each year, Oasis sends over 1,000 handwritten cards to LGBTQ+ immigrant clients as small but meaningful gestures of care.

Join SV2 for a hands-on activity to help write and decorate these special birthday cards! Oasis will guide us through their work and community impact, providing sample templates and creative supplies. No crafting experience needed; just bring your care and enthusiasm!
