Kinoni World Space Party

Uganda’s First Rotary-Aligned World Space Party

Rise Up and Celebrate Yuri’s Night

On April 12, 2026, the Rotary Club of Kinoni invites the community to gather under the stars for Uganda’s first Rotary-aligned World Space Party, held in celebration of Yuri’s Night — the global anniversary of humanity’s first journey into space.

This is a simple, joyful, community-centered gathering focused on wonder, learning, and unity.

Together, we will:

• Look up at the night sky through telescopes

• Introduce children and families to space, science, and curiosity

• Celebrate humanity’s shared journey beyond Earth

• Create a moment of connection that transcends borders, culture, and age

The World Space Party is part of a growing global initiative aligned with Rotary values — bringing people together through science, education, peace, and shared human experience. This Kinoni gathering also serves as the launch point for a broader international campaign that includes the Earth Dance World Party on the International Day of Peace.

✨ Theme: Rise Up
Rise up in curiosity.
Rise up in unity.
Rise up together.

This event is intentionally low-production and high-heart — centered on people, participation, and possibility.
