​On April 12, 2026, the Rotary Club of Kinoni invites the community to gather under the stars for Uganda’s first Rotary-aligned World Space Party, held in celebration of Yuri’s Night — the global anniversary of humanity’s first journey into space.

​This is a simple, joyful, community-centered gathering focused on wonder, learning, and unity.

​Together, we will:

• ​Look up at the night sky through telescopes

• ​Introduce children and families to space, science, and curiosity

• ​Celebrate humanity’s shared journey beyond Earth

• ​Create a moment of connection that transcends borders, culture, and age

​The World Space Party is part of a growing global initiative aligned with Rotary values — bringing people together through science, education, peace, and shared human experience. This Kinoni gathering also serves as the launch point for a broader international campaign that includes the Earth Dance World Party on the International Day of Peace.
