About Event

Working in Canada comes with it's own type of culture shocks. What's the difference between on-campus and off-campus work? How do you find roles? Working in the office vs remotely? How do you navigate a Canadian workplace? Things to consider as an entrepreneur?

Join this session to connect with Bisola, a Nigerian-born Entrepreneur and learn a thing or two from the conversation in the room. To make the most of the time, come prepared with your questions.

Things you can ask about:

  • Work permit rules and hour limits while studying

  • Finding roles and internships

  • Being an Entrepreneur

  • Navigating Canadian workplace culture

  • Anything else on your mind

Who it's for: International students in Canada at any stage — looking for your first job, navigating a current role, or thinking about what work looks like after graduation.

Format: 60 minutes. Short intro from our speaker, then open Q&A. Submit your questions when you register so we can make sure the most pressing ones get answered.

We hope to see you there!
