KCTF Relationship-First Resource Fair
Recognizing that a key step to providing safe and healing spaces to the Kensington community is strengthening the infrastructure of community-based organizations and city agencies serving the community, the Kensington Children Task Force is hosting a resource fair on Friday, November 20th, 11am-2pm at Safe-Hub to connect the organizations that support the children of Kensington.
The fair will offer a safe and comfortable space for exchanging information, networking, and meaningful relationship building. Over the course of 3 hours, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about various organizations in the city, including youth-centered organizations in the Kensington area, share about their respective organizations, and identify paths to effective partnerships.
This event is not a typical resource fair but will be a celebration and recognition of the groups that have been offering safe and healing spaces to Kensington youth and an opportunity to connect these groups to city and other agencies that can support the expansion and reach of their work.
Lunch will be provided, along with social activities, to create an environment for relaxed and authentic partnership building.
