​Mark your calendars, clear your schedules, and come hungry (Tanza). Our family Juneteenth gathering is back for another year, and you already know how we do.

​June 19th means more than a day off. It marks the moment freedom finally reached the folks who'd been waiting longest for it, and we honor that the best way we know how: together, with a plate in hand and music in the air.

​So pull up at 4pm. There will be food (plenty of it), music (the good kind), and the kind of fellowship that turns a backyard into home. Bring your appetite (Tanza), bring your kids and let's have fun!
