Wild & Scenic Film Festival
Mission Hills is proud to host the Wild & Scenic Film Festival on September 14th at 6 pm! Celebrating a love for nature through film, our inspiring collection of films aims to highlight environmental activism efforts with an urgent call to action.
In addition to the ten short films, we will be joined by hiker and activist Anjelica Avella from the film Forward, who will share her journey and documentary with us.
This evening of environmental justice awareness will also feature a silent auction with all proceeds benefitting local environmental efforts. We hope you'll join us for this special evening of collective action as we honor our exciting community of talented filmmaker-activists.
Tickets are $20, and all proceeds benefit local environmental justice nonprofits. Entry includes a commemorative tote bag, drinks, and snacks.

About Wild and Scenic Film Festival:
Wild & Scenic Film Festival is the largest annual fundraiser for the South Yuba River Citizens League(SYRCL). Locally, we raise funds and awareness to recover California’s wild salmon and protect the Yuba River watershed. We take our festival On Tour to around 120 events each year, partnering with groups working to protect and restore the important places in their communities. Wild & Scenic generates critical funds and increases awareness for grassroots environmental causes globally.
