About Event

This is a private, invite-only roundtable convened by NO.17 Foundation and SecondMuse as a part of AT ONE IMPACT WEEK 2026 | Singapore.

The Restore Nature: Capital Architecture session on 9 September makes the case to 40+ people. This breakfast is smaller and more direct — 15 to 20 priority funders, seated with the people building the Discovery Phase. Where the workshop introduces the model, this session turns it into commitment.

The Discovery Phase proves capital can flow to a whole landscape at once, delivering financial return alongside lasting benefit for people and land. Three Indonesian landscapes are underway: Simeulue (coconut value chain, with Lush, Ecosia, Corekees, Mars), Central Sulawesi (cacao, anchored by Mars), and East Kalimantan (nature-based restoration on a former palm oil concession, with TPC and OCTAVE Capital, modelling what 2.4 million hectares of degraded land could become).

Underlying all three is Mutual Value Labs and Economics of Mutuality Foundation's model: pricing mutual value the way finance prices risk and return, so regeneration and return are the same act. Stephen Badger's own journey — from mutual value in business to mutual value across an economy — anchors why this matters to the room.

The session moves through welcome, Discovery Phase story, and funder model, closing with a personal ask. Three funder tiers run from $100,000 to $1 million+, with site sponsorship and first-loss capital options. Each seat leaves with a commitment card.
