About Event

What happens when a startup takes investment from an established company?

Join Dr. H. Dennis Park of The University of Texas at Dallas for a conversation on corporate venture capital (CVC) and the role major companies can play in helping startups grow.

Drawing on both his research and firsthand experience as a corporate venture capitalist, Dr. Park will explore why established companies invest in startups—and what entrepreneurs can gain beyond funding, including industry expertise, resources, technology, and access to new markets.

The conversation will look at CVC from both sides of the table, including the opportunities, challenges, and considerations that come with bringing a corporate investor into a startup.
