🚆 Getting There
For group commute options, please arrive at 8:00am at Macquarie University Station, Waterloo Rd, Stand A and we will take the 575 Hornsby Station Bus at 8:06am and we will get off at Turramurra Station, Stand B. We will then have a short toilet/cafe break and take the 8:50am 577 Turramurra via North Turramurra Bus at Turramurra Station, Stand D. We will get off at Ku-ring-gai Creative Arts High School, Bobbin Head Rd and walk to Sphinx Memorial together.

Explore one of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park's most diverse hikes, featuring rainforest, waterfalls, creek crossings, mangrove boardwalks, and stunning views over Cowan Creek. Along the way, you'll encounter unique rock formations and a fun, more challenging climb back to the Sphinx Memorial.
With a mix of lush bushland, scenic waterways, and a touch of adventure, this loop is perfect for hikers looking for a rewarding day on the trails.

We keep a steady, social pace with short breaks along the way.
Estimated time to finish the walk is at 12:30-1:00pm. Buses from Ku-ring-gai run every hour (1:04pm, 2:04pm, etc.) to Turramurra Station to take the train back to the city.
