The Wild Gentleman Book Club - Meeting #2 - Man's Search for Meaning
The Wild Gentleman Book Club - September Meeting
Announcing the second The Wild Gentleman Book Club meeting. We are building a community for thoughtful men to explore literature, wisdom, and what it means to live with purpose. Getting together in person is a key component of The Wild Gentleman.
The idea is to get men together, meet, and have conversations about complex ideas through great books (and also some not-so-complex ideas). Our first meeting was laid-back—we discussed how The Great Gatsby challenges us to think deeper about character, relationships, and growth.
The book for August is Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning. We will be discussing this book at our September meetup.
We'll hoist a Guinness or a Diet Coke and share good company.
What to expect:
Thoughtful discussion about our current book selection
Connection with like-minded men seeking wisdom and community
An environment that values questions over answers
Good conversation over good food and drinks
The Wild Gentleman explores thoughtful masculinity through four core values: Love, Adventure, Wisdom, and Community. Our book club embodies all four—the adventure of tackling challenging literature, the wisdom found in great stories, the love required for vulnerable conversation, and the community we build together.
Location: Paddy's Public House, Newton
When: September 10, 2025
What to bring: An open mind and willingness to engage
Come as you are. Let's read, think, and grow together.
