NYC HOPE 2026 | Veteran Night Patrol
On March 10, 2026, the City of New York will conduct its annual Homeless Outreach Population Estimate (HOPE), a citywide survey to better coordinate housing and outreach resources for our unhoused neighbors.
This year, Five Borough Veterans invites you to join us in a special mission: ensuring that no veteran is left behind. While city volunteers focus on the general population, our team of former service members will be on the ground, reaching out directly to veterans experiencing homelessness.
Veterans living on the street are often more willing to engage with someone who shares the bond of service. By joining us, you’ll help make sure our brothers and sisters are seen, counted, and guided toward safety and stability.
