Creativity and Self Compassion with Born I

​Join meditation teacher, author, and hip-hop artist Born I (Ofosu Jones-Quartey) for an evening exploring the relationship between mindfulness, creativity, and self-compassion.

​How can mindfulness help us connect more deeply with our creativity? What happens when we learn to meet ourselves with kindness rather than criticism? And how might we approach the art of living with the same openness, curiosity, and freedom that we bring to creative expression?

​Drawing from his experiences as a Buddhist practitioner and musician, Born I will share reflections on the Dharma, the creative process, and the transformative power of self-compassion.

​This intimate gathering will include guided meditation, a Dharma talk, community conversation and Q&A, and live performances of original music.

​All are welcome. No artistic experience necessary, just an open heart and a willingness to explore.
