​You are invited to attend Santa Cruz’s first student-led mayoral forum, where elementary school students (ages 8–12) will ask future mayoral candidates thoughtful questions about their community's future—including one simple but powerful question: “What are you going to do for us?”

​Moderated by Mayor Fred Keeley, the forum will be held at DeLaveaga School on Saturday, May 30, from 10:30 AM–12:00 PM, and streamed live on YouTube so the broader community can take part in this important civic moment.

​THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL EVENT. Our goal is to give young students a meaningful voice, strengthen civics education, and inspire long-term thinking about education, jobs, and economic opportunity for the next generation.
