Albany fundraiser in support of the Regional Transit Measure with Seamless Bay Area and Transbay Coalition
The future of transit in the Bay Area is at stake on the November 2026 ballot. The region needs to pass Measure RTM (also known as the Connect Bay Area Measure), a regional transit funding measure that will prevent devastating cuts to BART, AC Transit, and other transit throughout the region
In support of the Connect Bay Area campaign, Seamless Bay Area & Transbay Coalition, two grassroots advocacy groups, co-lead a massive signature gathering effort to get the initiative on the November ballot. This was the largest mobilization of Bay Area transit riders in decades with more than 1,000 volunteers activated across the Bay Area who collected more than 77,000 signatures.
Now, we are preparing for the next phase of the campaign to win in November – and need your help. On October 4th, join Albany and East Bay neighbors for a back yard party in support of Seamless Bay Area & Transbay Coalition, to get the resources they need to sustain and scale up their organizing in the East Bay and throughout the Bay Area. Funding enables these organizations to train up more volunteers, engage with hundreds of organizations, and more.
The event will be in a private residence in Albany (exact Location upon RSVP).
