Introducing Avandar: World Humanitarian Day 2026
Join us on World Humanitarian Day as Avandar unpacks this year's theme: Strengthening Global Solidarity and Empowering Local Communities.
Avandar is a new state-of-the-art data management platform for the social sector. It is optimized for humanitarian use cases, fully open source, and can work entirely offline.
We'll dig into a real humanitarian crisis: what happened on the ground, how the response unfolded, where coordination broke down, and what we can learn. The challenge often isn't a lack of data, but data scattered across spreadsheets, disconnected systems, and partners who can't share one operational picture. In this workshop you will learn how you can use Avandar in your organization to address these problems.
Expect a 20-minute case walkthrough, a 20-minute moderated discussion on the real role of tech in humanitarian response, and time for audience questions. The session will take place on Google Meet, and the joining link will be sent after registration.
