​Marking the anniversary of the death of Col James C. Fitzmaurice (26 September 1965), as we look ahead to the centenary of the Bremen flight (2028) — the first successful east-to-west crossing of the Atlantic by air.

​Running order

• ​2:00pm — Guests arrive and meet

• ​Piper leads guests in procession to the graveside of Fitz, where wreaths are laid

• ​2:45pm — Move indoors for refreshments and a discussion with the Centenary Committee, led by Maj Gen Ralph James (ret)

• ​4:00pm — Close
