​Join us for the launch of our new report – From Risk to Resilience: Advancing visibility and performance across the electricity network. Written/led by Imperial College London’s Dr Aidan Rhodes and Dr Fei Teng, experts in Energy Policy and Intelligent Energy Systems respectively, and delivered via Imperial Consultants.

​Overview of the report:

​The authors assess the current challenges facing DNOs, from extreme weather to aging assets and the electrification drive, and investigates via quantitative modelling new digital technologies, such as line-sensing, which could improve resilience at lower costs. They examine both the ED2 and the upcoming ED3 price-control regulatory frameworks for their abilities to incentivise the adoption of new digital technologies and make several key policy recommendations:
