Overview of the report:
The authors assess the current challenges facing DNOs, from extreme weather to aging assets and the electrification drive, and investigates via quantitative modelling new digital technologies, such as line-sensing, which could improve resilience at lower costs. They examine both the ED2 and the upcoming ED3 price-control regulatory frameworks for their abilities to incentivise the adoption of new digital technologies and make several key policy recommendations:
· Strengthen Incentives to Drive Long-Term Resilience
· Support Investment in High-impact Technologies
· Improve Transparency and Accountability
· Provide a Clearer Strategic Direction from Government
What to expect at the launch:

· Panel discussion with key stakeholders from across the sector
· Networking reception from 16:30
