About Event

There’s less than 60 days left until the end of 2026.

Perhaps you've spent much of this year responding to responsibilities, meeting expectations, navigating changes and keeping things moving. What if you had the space to pause and make sense of it all?

We are part of the living world, and our own well-being deserves care.

As another year approaches, you might be wondering: What has mattered most to me this year? What has given me energy and fulfilment? What am I ready to leave behind? And where would I like to direct my attention next?

Rather than rushing into another set of goals, come make some time for yourself, alongside a small group of others, to reflect on the year and explore where you would like to go next through your own River Compass.

--

In this guided reflection session, you will:

  • Reflect on the challenges you have navigated and the lessons you have learnt.

  • Recognise the activities and experiences that bring you energy and fulfilment.

  • Notice what you may have outgrown, and what you are ready to let go.

  • Clarify the values, habits and opportunities you want to carry into the year ahead.

  • Create a visual starting point for your next chapter.

You will be facilitated by Cuifen Pui through a mapping exercise. Paper and pen provided.

You'll leave with your own River Compass Map — a visual record of what you've navigated, what matters to you and the possibilities you want to explore in the year ahead.

Who is this session for?

This session is for people who care about the living world and are interested in living more thoughtfully and intentionally within it.

Perhaps you spend time caring for the environment, contributing to your community, supporting others or finding ways to make a positive difference. This is an opportunity to turn some of that attention inwards, and consider what helps you thrive.

You don't need to have a particular background or experience. Just bring an openness to reflection, curiosity about your own river of life, and respect for the experiences of others.

--

What to expect

  • A guided drawing and reflection session

  • Paired conversations

  • An invitation to share your insights with the group

Come as you are, with curiosity about the path you have travelled and openness to the one ahead.
