About Event

Come canvass with our canvassing lead, Liam, and others in the Chorus for Bores group! This is a good way to meet other folks involved in on-the-ground efforts, and more importantly, the best way to start helping elect Alex! If you've never canvassed before, Liam will make sure you are well prepared before getting started.

This shift is a continuation of the earlier morning shift, since so many people love to keep canvassing past 11am, so it's gonna be in roughly the same location. Here's the plan:

  • 12:30pm: Meet up at the canvassing location: Hell's Kitchen Park at W 47th and 10th. Our canvassing lead, Jesse, will run a brief training session, hand out canvassing materials, and assign you a specific area nearby. If you want to arrive earlier, let Jesse know and you can meet up with the morning canvassers and get some food with them!

  • 12:30pm-3pm: Canvass! If you need to turn up late or leave early, just let the canvassing organizer know.

  • 3pm-3:30pm: We'll head to a nearby cafe after canvassing. Hang out, get some food, swap canvassing stories, and get to know the other people in the group :)

If you need to be in touch, please contact Liam via phone/Signal at 646-656-0084.

About Liam: I’ve lived in Manhattan for seven years, and I’m passionate about smart AI regulation. That's why I care about electing Alex Bores as our next congressman. This is the closest primary in New York right now and one of the most important. It’s cliché, but every vote really does count. Excited to meet everyone and talk about how we can most effectively get out the vote for Alex and win!
